FC Interconnection Schemes (NCITS T11.3)
Washington D.C., April 1998 -- NCITS (National Committee for Information Technology Standards) announces the approval of a new task group, FC Interconnection Schemes (NCITS T11.3).
TG T11.3 will initially assume responsibility for the following projects:
959-D, Fibre Channel - Switched Fabric & Switched Control Requirements (FC-SW) (Formerly FC-XS)
1133-D, Fibre Channel Arbitrated Loop (FC-AL-2)
1232-D, Fibre Channel Slotted Loop (FC-SL)
1304-D, Fibre Channel Loop (FC-AL-3)
1305-D, Fibre Channel Second General Switch Fabric (FC-SW-2)

The first meeting of T11.3 will be held on Thursday, April 23, 1998 in Palm Springs, CA at the T11 Plenary. All individuals who are materially or directly affected are invited to participate.
