NCITS Announces the Approval of the Project Proposal for a Technical Report on User Guide for the Use of Crossplay Calibration Tape (CCT) in a System of 19 mm ID-1 Recorders

Washington D.C., February, 1998 - NCITS (National Committee for Information Technology Standards) announces approval of this new project being developed within Technical Committee, B5, Digital Magnetic Tape. The reference number for this project is 1298-DT.

This Technical Report embodies the contribution of experts users of ID-1 19 mm tape recording systems who have been responsible for acquisition, processing and distribution of data. The scope of this Technical Report shall be to describe the use of the test signals on a CCT while calibrating and/or monitoring the crossplay performance status of 19 mm ID-1 recorders.
