NCITS Announces the Public Comment Period for the Reaffirmation of ANSI X3.135:1992 Information Systems - Database Language - SQL

Washington D.C., January 1998 - NCITS (National Committee for Information Technology Standards) is announcing the public comment period for ANSI X3.135:1992. The public review extends from January 30, 1998 to March 31, 1998.

This American National Standard defines the data structures and basic operations on SQL-data. It provides functional capabilities for creating, accessing, maintaining, controlling, and protecting SQL-data.

In accordance with ANSI procedures and NCITS, which require a five-year review of approved standards, Technical Committee H2 recommends this standard be reissued, without change.
